Vision and Values

At Church Gresley Pre-School, we have created a warm, family-like environment where every child feels safe, valued, and able to flourish. We believe that children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences, so we provide a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.

We are passionate about giving every child the opportunity to experience new challenges, build confidence, develop independence, and form positive friendships. Our experienced team supports each child as an individual, celebrating their unique strengths and helping them grow at their own pace.

As an inclusive setting, we are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their needs or abilities. We work closely with families and other professionals to provide the right support, ensuring every child feels a true sense of belonging within our pre-school community.

A key part of our curriculum is our exciting outdoor learning environment. Our recently redeveloped garden has been carefully designed to inspire curiosity, encourage risk-taking in a safe and supported way, promote physical development, and create endless opportunities for imaginative play and exploration. We believe that time spent outdoors is essential for children's wellbeing, confidence, resilience, and overall development.

We are incredibly proud of our outdoor space and the positive impact it has had on our children. To find out more about how and why we developed our garden, and to see photographs of the transformation and the wonderful learning opportunities it provides, please follow the link below.

Our values are reflected in everything we do and are supported by our Rainbow Rules, which help children learn kindness, respect, responsibility, and how to build positive relationships with others. You can find out more about our Rainbow Rules below and how they help create our happy, caring, and inclusive pre-school community.
